KAZIMI - Live Music Concert

Monday, March 17 | 6 pm - 7 pm ~ KAZIMI ~ sliding scale $15-$35

Join artist KAZIMI -- a Texas-born, NY-based songstress for a night of live music on the heels of her performance at South by Southwest festival she will be passing through Taos.

Description: Where do you find softness? Why is it never in your body? Could it be? Overworked and under-resourced, KAZIMI collapsed beneath the weight of her first album’s release. The disintegration was harsh but she was left with something simple and pure. This spring, KAZIMI sets out on a tour to explore resilience and regeneration. What would it look like to spend every show co-creating the softest cocoon imaginable? Could you let go and climb in? How juicy could it get?

Her alternative folk music is perfect for people who want to cry & feel sexy at the same time.

Bio:

For most of her life, KAZIMI played music alone and in secret. She crafted songs to work through life’s peaks and valleys, but they were never meant to be shared. Then came the tidal shift of 2020 and on the other side of isolation, the recording of her debut album, River Run. Raised in Texas but based in New York City, the singer/songwriter writes genre-bending music that is tender and cinematic. She dives deep into the personal to touch universal truths, alchemizing the grit of life into a sonic balm that is both soft and strong.

You can listen to her music on Spotify or Apple Music and find out more about her on Instagram
