Spiritual Awakening & Rebirth - Lecture with Tara Basu

Friday, June 2 from 7-9 pm

As we go through life, we are constantly shedding and revising our old identities so we can embrace a newer, wiser, more complete version of ourselves.  The idea of being born again is a concept intrinsic to the human experience, and has special significance and power when we decided to embrace spirituality on a new level.  We will talk about the nature of this metamorphosis, how the transformation manifests, and how it applies to our daily lives.  This class includes a lecture and facilitated group meditations.  Time will be given for discussion as well opportunities to share personal experiences.

There will be an emphasis on Eastern thought with a focus on the universality of different paths.  Open to all.  $15 sliding fee scale

During a delightful afternoon of magic, Joseph will help us uncover the steps that we can take, one by one, to become an inspiration to ourselves and then to others. The afternoon will conclude with a powerful meditation of becoming a Beacon of Light and a Beacon of Hope and then traveling into hot spots in the world to bring light and hope into the darkness.
