About Sharon Rose: Sharron Rose, M.A. is a documentary filmmaker, author, composer, choreographer, healer &Master teacher in World Dance, Music & Mythology. She is the President of Sacred Mysteries Productions and winner of the Filmmaker of the Year award from the “20th World Congress on Qi Gong, Tai Chi, TCM & Natural Healing.
Sharron is the Producer/ Director of the forthcoming series, "Quantum Qi." and numerous other documentaries in the realms of ancient cultures, the healing arts, yoga, and alchemy.
As a Fulbright Senior Research Scholar to India, she became the first American disciple of early Bollywood star, renowned North Indian classical dancer, & Tantrika, Sitara Devi. From this powerful, initiatory experience, she began her journey into Sacred Dance, music, healing practices & teachings on embodiment of the Goddess in ancient Egypt, Tibet, Kabbalah, Africa, Tibet, Shamanism, Gnosticism, & Taoism.
Sharron has lectured, performed & presented her films in numerous schools and universities, spiritual centers, cultural organizations, and museums and has been a consultant to the National Endowment for the Arts.
She is the author of the “Visionary Award” winning book, The Path of the Priestess: A Guidebook for Awakening the Divine Feminine, & is currently completing a global fusion cd, book, and performance project, The Nectar of Bliss, dedicated to the healing power of the Divine Feminine in cultures throughout the world.
